#239: That Time We Watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009)

For the second entry of foreign film month, we watched the 2009 Swedish crime thriller film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Directed by Niels Arden Oplev the film tells the story of a journalist who is aided by a young female hacker in his search for the killer of a woman who has been dead for forty years. The film stars Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace and is based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Swedish writer Stieg Larsson, and is the first entry in his Millennium series. Come join us!!!
