This week we watched the 1981 comedy adventure film History of the World Part I. Written and directed by Mel Brooks the film tells the story of some of human history through comedy and gags. The large ensemble cast also features Sid Caesar, Shecky Greene, Gregory Hines, Charlie Callas, Dom DeLuise, Madeline Kahn and Cloris Leachman. Brooks also stars in the film, playing five roles: Moses, Comicus the stand-up philosopher, Tomás de Torquemada, King Louis XVI, and Jacques, le garçon de pisse. Come join us!!!
