#272: That Time We Watched Stardust

This week we watched a pretty star packed film that seems like it’s been forgotten, 2007’s Stardust. directed by Matthew Vaughn and based on Neil Gaiman’s 1999 novel of the same name, it tells the story of  a young man who makes a promise to his beloved that he’ll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm over the wall. It features an ensemble cast led by Claire Danes, Charlie Cox, Sienna Miller, Ricky Gervais, Jason Flemyng, Rupert Everett, Peter O’Toole, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Robert De Niro, with narration by Ian McKellen.
