#92: That Time We Reviewd Snowpiercer

For the final film in our first annual foreign film month we watch the 2013 South Korean-Czech production, Snowpiercer. The film stars Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Go Ah-sung, John Hurt, and Ed Harris. The movie takes place aboard the Snowpiercer train, operating on a globe-spanning track, carrying the last remnants of humanity after an attempt at climate engineering in order to stop global warming has unintentionally created a new Snowball Earth. Come join us as we discuss this film and also touch upon the convincing theory that this is some how a sequel to Willy Womka and the Chocolate Factory.
