In our 60th episode our friend Chris returns and we watched one of Conor’s film suggestion, 2004’s Kung Fu Hustle. Written and Directed by Stephen Chow, in Shanghai, in the 1940s, a wannabe gangster aspires to join the notorious “Axe Gang” while residents of a housing complex exhibit extraordinary powers in defending their turf. This is an eccentric and outrageous film that is a very entertaining watch so come join our discussion and be sure to let us know what you think.
