This week we watched the new 2023 Universal film Renfield. Directed and produced by Chris McKay, and written by Ryan Ridley from a story by Robert Kirkman, it serves as a direct sequel to the 1931 film Dracula. Renfield, Dracula’s henchman and inmate at the lunatic asylum for decades, longs for a life away from the Count, his various demands, and all of the bloodshed that comes with them. The film stars Nicholas Hoult, Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Nicolas Cage. Come join us!!!
