#178: That Time We Watched Funny Games

This week is Zach’s pick and he had 4 films to choose from but we ultimately went with his original pick of the 1997 psychological thriller film Funny Games. Written and directed by Michael Haneke, who also made a previous podcast film Amour, the film involves two young men who hold a family hostage and torture them with sadistic games in their vacation home. While not overly graphic the film is meant to be a reflection and criticism of violence used in media!!!
