#125: That Time We Watched Rise of the Guardians

This week we watched the 2012 animated action fantasy film Rise of the Guardians. Based on and also serving as a continuation of the William Joyce book series The Guardians of Childhood, the film is directed by Peter Ramsey, executive produced by Joyce and Guillermo and features the voice talents of Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher, and Jude Law. Set about 300 years after the book series, the film tells a story about Guardians Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and the Sandman, who enlist Jack Frost to stop the evil Pitch Black from engulfing the world in darkness in a fight of dreams.
